Hello my name is Janina (Jan) Robbins. I’m a pretty flexible and easy going person. I try my best to enjoy life to the fullest. I was a cheerleader when I was in junior high and high school. So, I am always up for using this skill to cheer people on to fight the hard fight, if needed. I am a wife and a mother to a wonderful 10 year old boy. I am also a business owner and work remotely from my home office. This allows me to be home when my son gets off the bus from school and to also assist my husband who previously worked as a database analyst prior to being unfortunately diagnosed with multiple sclerosis.
When I am not working, I enjoy getting out and doing fun things with my family. I love socializing and meeting new people and one way to do that is to get out and travel. I travelled over the years to places such as Panama, Greece, Canada, Mexico and the Bahamas. I also took time to visit different states in the U.S. such as New York, Virginia, California, New Mexico, Idaho, Colorado, Wyoming, Nevada and Montana. Now that my son is at an age to travel easier, we are looking forward to checking more places off our bucket list. Therefore, our family would like to take a cruise to Alaska, Hawaii, and Panama.
Besides wanting to travel more, my family and I enjoy watching sports and are big Seahawk fans. We also watch college football too. We love camping and being out in nature. We also like crafting, painting on canvass and rocks, also creating pottery.
Lastly, I like to listen to a large variety of music genres and try to go to music concerts at least a few times a year. When I was younger, I was active in choir and performed a few solos. Today, I love that my son also enjoys singing and hopes to try out one day for The Voice – Junior and also America Ninja Warrior - Junior.
That’s me in a nutshell!
