Universal Studios Orlando Is Expanding...Again!

Universal Orlando has expanded quite a bit recently with the addition of Volcano Bay Water Park and the newest resort, Aventura Hotel.  In April, Universal Orlando announced the names of their two newest hotels, being built on the former site of Wet ‘n Wild Water Park. In the Summer of 2019, Surfside Inn & Suites will open featuring 750 rooms, while Dockside Inn & Suites will open in 2020, featuring 2,050 rooms.  Together, these properties will form a new complex known as Universal’s Endless Summer Resort.  The addition of these two resorts will bring the room count of all Universal resorts in Orlando to 9,000!

Features Include:
  • 1,450 two-bedroom suites including kitchenette, dining area, and bathroom.  Rates will start at $111 per night.
  • Other room options for as low as $73 per night.
  • Rooms feature ocean-theme and beach theme motif.
  • Early park admission and free shuttle service to all Universal parks.
  • Part of Universal’s new value-hotel category.
